Sunday is Funday!

Its the one day I'm not worried about time.  15 minutes to get ready.  15 minutes to get N ready.  20 minutes to get L ready.  20 minutes for breakfast.  20 minutes to nurse.  10 minutes to get N ready again.  Out the door by 9am.  Yes, the mornings around here are a little hectic.  Besides the fact my kids are early risers, it's just nice to lay in bed watching morning cartoons and having aimless conversations.

During the week we have preschool, playdates, errands and activities.  We squeeze in many things.  We make time to visit friends and family (even though we see them all on a weekly basis).  We make time to visit the parks.  We make time to buy toilet paper when it goes on sale.  Our Saturdays are usually spoken for too.  Things not accomplished during the week are done on Saturdays.

But Sunday mornings are reserved for lazing around the house.  We don't even change out of our pajamas.  Sipping my coffee rather than gulping.  Lingering over the morning paper rather than skimming.  What a luxury.  It's a morning for pancakes and ice cream.  We bake.  We sew.  We have unlimited tea parties.  L rides her bike around our kitchen island and I'm not yelling.  Anything goes today.  Gotta love Sundays.
