Carnival Time!

We went to the best birthday party ever.  Seriously.  The. Best.  It was a carnival themed first birthday and it was so much fun!  And I suck.  I did the party no justice.  The only pictures I have are of L playing the games.  Not even a picture of the birthday boy.  Or the super cute cupcakes.  Or the cotton candy.  Or the buffet spread.  Or the balloon lady.  Or the candy apples.  You get the point.  I suck big time.  In hindsight I should've just left N to fend for himself and went photo happy.  Damn hindsight. They even had live fish as a prize!  L really wanted the goldfish.  DH--not so much.  So needless to say, we did not take one home.  (DH said it was animal cruelty and he was going to call PETA... if only you knew him...).  


As each kid arrived, they were each given a bag to contain all their prizes.  Really, they should have been given 2-3 bags because all the kids' bags were overflowing!  And because it was a kids' party, every kid was a winner.  Yippee!

One of her MANY prizes!  L "won" 4 of these humongous plastic blow ups (among other toys).  It made our vehicle smell like plastic for several hours!

L had such a good time she thanked DH and I for bringing her to this party.  She's so sweet.
