We took the kids to San Francisco and Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. The trip almost didn't happen with my mom (at the time) still in the hospital. Our trip was booked back in February, before her stroke. But at the insistence of our families, we hesitantly went.
We spent the first 4 days in lovely San Fran. Then we drove to LA. It took us 6 hours (with 2 stops for food and breaks). In LA, we focused on Disneyland. At first, we were worried about our kids being too young for it. But that was not the case. Miss L is 3.5. In her eyes, everything was real and magical. Waiting in line for 30 mins per ride did not faze her. She got to see Tinkerbell, all the Disney princesses, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Mary Poppins (although she didn't know who Mary Poppins was). She preferred to see them from afar and she refused to have any pictures with them. Overall, her excitement was contagious. It was definitely the most happiest place on earth in her eyes. Conveniently, our hotel was right across the street. We left the park for lunch/nap and supper. And we were prepared to be patient. With patience and preparation, tackling Disneyland was a breeze.

Aww so cute!!!! The pictures are wonderful, not blurry at all. Made me wonder what my photos will be like when I can take my kid to Disneyland, have a few more years to wait for that though.
